Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a Digital Technology Senior Specialist - Infrastructure Architecture to design and secure cloud-based applications across Baker and customer clouds. You will implement security controls, work with architects and security teams, and drive incident response with measurable metrics.

The role requires a strong background in cloud security, DevOps, and automation, with 6+ years of experience, preferably with Azure infra services and certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or STEM majors.
• 6+ years of professional experience in security and cloud.
• Experience with Azure infra services and automating deployments.
• Cloud security certifications (SC-100, AZ-500) preferred.
• Experience with cloud security frameworks (SOC2, NIST 800-53, ISO 27001, IEC 62443).

As a Digital Technology Senior Specialist - Infrastructure Architecture, you will be requiring knowledge of security, and secure software development practices. You will partner with existing development teams to build secure software on cloud or on-perm infra. You will part of team who is responsible for deploying application, maintaining, running the operation with 99.17 uptime and highest security levels. As a Digital Technology Senior Specialist - Infrastructure Architecture, you will be responsible for:

• Participating in designing and deploying application in customer hosted cloud infrastructure.
• Responsible for cloud security guidelines implementation for application hosted in Baker cloud infrastructure.
• Responsible for assisting customer and deployment team for implementing cloud security guidelines implementation for application hosted in Customer cloud.
• Defining the framework and processes for Cloud security for application hosted in Baker infrastructure
• Defining tools and processes needed for maintaining the security of the applications in consolation with Product Architecture team and Baker IT security team.
• Working with Architects, independent researchers, and in-house researchers to identify, rate, report and manage product vulnerabilities and incidents
• Engaging in incident response methods lead incident response processes related to product cloud security. Create and track meaningful metrics around product cyber risk and compensating controls for the cloud infra and application.
• Creating vulnerability and incident trend analysis to improve infrastructure
• Engaging in application and domain-specific, cloud security and attack surface analysis/reduction
• Helping prepare reports at appropriate levels of confidentiality for stakeholders to view
• Responding promptly and in detail to customer-sponsored penetration tests and customer queries and issues reported.
• Making system/images templates/containers available which are hardened and VAPT tested.
• Driving and leading for certifications such ISO 270001 OR SOC2

To be successful in this role you will:

• Bachelor's Degree. A minimum 6 years of professional experience.
• Have an experience in Azure infra services and automating deployments. Have a bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math).
• Have Cloud security certification will be preferred. SC-100, AZ-500 or equivalent.
• Have Experience with cloud security framework (SOc2, NIST 800-53, ISO 27001, IEC 62443, etc.) implementation and governance.
• Have 6+ years’ experience in implementing security processes including tools/techniques for Cloud hosted applications.
• Have Knowledge of application risk identification and evaluation techniques.
• Have Experience securing applications within cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure.
• Have Experience with implementing security tools like Defender, Trivy, Prisma Container Scan, Blackduck, SIEM (central platform).
• Have Security implementation experience with IOT based application is preferred. Have Experienced in integrating applications using web services (SOAP/REST).
• Been Working experience of various IPS/IDS, WAF.
• Have hands on experience on Network security with devices such as Firewall/Routers.
• Have Good working experience in data encryption technologies
• Have Experience with container technologies is preferred.
• Have an experience working in DevOps and IaC using Biceps and Cloud formation.
• Have some exposure to provisioning of end to end managed services.
• Have hands on experience working with defining and executing disaster recovery.
• Skilled level expertise in design of computing or network or storage to meet business application system qualities.
• Understands technical and business discussions relative to future architecture direction aligning with business goals.
• Understands concepts of setting and driving architecture direction.
• Familiar with elements of gathering architecture requirements.
• Understands architecture standards concepts to apply to project work.
