Within the Digital function, the Governance and Transformation department plays a key transversal role in enabling the Digital Transformation, from FRAMING - expressing strategic intentions and defining simple, flexible and scalable frames - to SUPPORTING Domains and PSL’s while ensuring alignment between functions and divisions - to REPORTING through consolidated views, highlighting hotspots and relevant needs for support & decision-making. In India, the Sourcing team plays a key transversal role promoting synergies between multiple domains across Airbus worldwide & Suppliers with a flexible and adaptable approach which helps in sharing best practices, innovation, operational excellence and being efficient with cost, quality and time. In this context, the Sourcing team enables business to focus on strategy/core competencies by providing access to right skills in the market to meet variable capacity demand with right quality and save cost. A vacancy for a Digital Sourcing Manager has arisen within Airbus in Bengaluru.

You will join the Digital business and Function Management team of Governance department in India, whose responsibilities are the transversal Digital sourcing strategy, call for tender & operational contracts.

About the role

• Implement the Digital Sourcing Strategy through shaping the Supplier landscape and contributing to Supplier selection processes.
• Drive the operational sourcing activities including governance boards to foster rationalisation & increase business value
• Define & implement operational supply chain monitoring guidelines
• Drive the continuous improvement of our way of working including monitoring of our strategic suppliers performance in collaboration with key stakeholders
• Co-lead major contracts & sourcing multi-functional teams
• Foster synergies on sourcing culture across divisions in Airbus
• Act as focal point for Digital Domains to provide guidance on all sourcing related activities.

This role will involve some travels for business and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.

About You

You are: Agile, proactive and inquisitive Experienced in leading multi-functional teams with robust stakeholder management skills Willing to speak up & able to adjust communication style to all levels of the organisation.

You have: Business acumen to understand the impact of Digital challenges along with IT/ITES Services industry knowledge Knowledge of IS/IT processes & digital trends (Cloud, SaaS,..) would be a plus Ability to translate Business needs into mature WorkSpec standards Understanding of Work Packages Contract lifecycle management, procurement & supplier management processes and Contract management experience would be a plus A high level of emotional intelligence as well as good listening and coaching skills Negotiation level of English.

Experience: 12+ years.
