Overview

The Digital Product Merchandising Specialist is responsible for driving content visibility, engagement, and organic growth across Cineverse’s streaming platforms. This role manages product positioning, merchandising, messaging, and in-app marketing campaigns across web, OTT, and mobile apps, while working closely with internal teams and platform partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market campaigns for new features, priority titles, and audience engagement initiatives.
  • Manage and optimize merchandising placements, upsell pages, show pages, and program art launches and updates across all platforms.
  • Lead organic app acquisition efforts, including software and data reporting to measure installs, retention, and attribution.
  • Collaborate to ensure accurate and timely updates across upsell/show pages.
  • Support regular app store updates (descriptions, screenshots, videos, in-app events) to keep listings optimized.
  • Innovate asset trafficking and link tracking processes, ensuring accurate attribution with the Marketing Insights and Market Research.
  • Maintain regular communication with Product, Asset Management, Research, and Marketing teams to align on priorities.
  • Prepare weekly/bi-weekly/monthly updates for Marketing leadership, summarizing organic campaign performance (installs, free trial starts, unique viewers, streams, podcast and newsletter subscriptions).
  • Produce campaign recaps with screenshots, videos, and clips for internal decks and presentations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in product marketing, platform merchandising, or growth marketing, preferably in streaming, gaming, or entertainment.
  • Expertise in app store optimization (ASO) and partner platform merchandising (Amazon, Roku, Samsung, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of organic acquisition levers, user funnels, and engagement KPIs.
  • Excellent project management and stakeholder communication skills.
  • Analytical skills with proven ability to translate data into actionable insights and optimizations.
  • Familiarity with CMS, ASO, and analytics platforms.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional product, engineering, and BI teams.
  • Knowledge of A/B testing methodologies and optimization frameworks.
  • Passion for streaming entertainment and audience engagement.
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Product Management, Communications, or Media Studies required, with a focus on digital platforms or product strategy preferred.
