Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in India is seeking a healthcare professional to set up and operate haemodialysis machines to provide patient dialysis. You will attach dialyzers and tubing, prime circuits, label patient lines, and prepare dialysis solutions according to protocol.

You will explain the dialysis procedure to patients, connect the machine to the access site, monitor for malfunctions, and maintain logbooks and registers to ensure accurate records.

Qualifications

• Sets up haemodialysis machines and provides dialysis treatment to patients.
• Attaches dialyser and tubing and primes extracorporeal circuits with saline.
• Labels dialyser and blood lines with patient name and ID.
• Prepares dialysis solutions and mixes bicarbonate according to formula.
• Explains dialysis procedure to patients before treatment to ease anxieties.
• Connects machine to patient’s access site to initiate dialysis.
• Monitors haemodialysis machine for malfunction.
• Maintains log books, forms and registers.

• Explains dialysis procedure and operation of haemodialysis machine to patient before treatment to allay anxieties.
• Connects haemodialysis machine to patient’s access site to initiate dialysis.
• Monitor haemodialysis machine for malfunction.
• Maintain all the log books, forms & registers.
