Job summary

Tata Technologies in Pune is seeking an experienced automotive diagnostics professional with 10-15 years of experience to drive DOIP, OBD, and diagnostic protocol work across vehicle domains. You will implement test cases, data logging, and diagnostic validation using Vector/Indigo toolchains.

You will contribute to DOIP architecture, ODX processes, and functional safety concepts while coordinating with cross-functional teams to deliver robust vehicle diagnostics solutions.

Qualifications

• 10-15 years of experience in automotive diagnostics and testing.
• Proficient in CAN/LIN/KWP200/UDS diagnostic protocols and DOIP.
• Strong knowledge of DOIP architecture and data logging.
• Experience with ODX process, tools and test case generation.
• Familiarity with Vector/In2soft/Softing diagnostic tools.
• Knowledge of DFMEA and functional safety concepts.

Responsibilities

• Prepare DOIP test cases on bench and in-vehicle.
• Work with diagnostic tools for data logging and analysis.
• Collaborate on system-level design, testing and integration across domains.

Job description

Location- Pune

Experience - 10-15 years

• Detailed knowledge of Legislative and Regulatory Requirements like OBD I, OBD II, EOBD, etc.
• Experience of automotive communication and Diagnostic protocols (CAN, LIN, KWP200, UDS etc)
• Knowledge of ODX Process, Method and Tools
• Usage of communication tools (CANoe, CANalyzer, Indigo, V Flash, CAN DIVA etc) and diagnostic tools (ODX Authoring tools, Diagnostic test case generators and Vehicle diagnostic tools) from Vector, In2soft and Softing.
• Basic knowledge of System DFMEA, Fault Tree Analysis, Functional Safety
• Working knowledge of the system and functionality in power-train, chassis, body and infotainment domains, vehicle EE architecture, function partitioning, design, testing and integration.
• Experience in vehicle instrumentation for data logging and analysis.
• Good knowledge of DOIP technology and overall DOIP architecture.
• DOIP test cases preparations and validation on bench and in vehicle.
• Good knowledge in SOVD, REST API''s Soft skills
• Excellent communication skills, Co-ordination Delegation, Tracking and Escalation along with Conflict resolution.
