Job summary

HypTechie is seeking a Senior DevSecOps Lead to guide secure OCI-based solutions, automations, and cloud-native deployments. You will drive security-first architecture, collaborate across delivery teams, and mentor engineers while sharing knowledge through blogs and sessions.

You will design secure architectures, implement CI/CD, and lead integrations, while engaging with clients to align security controls with compliance requirements and innovation goals.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive IT experience.
• 5+ years of cloud solution development, implementation, or architecture experience.
• 3+ years of technical architecture experience integrating software into cloud infrastructure.
• Proficiency in Java or Python with strong hands-on programming experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Strong experience in cloud service delivery with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and deliver secure cloud-native solutions leveraging OCI and third-party integrations.
• Implement DevSecOps practices including CI/CD, IaC, event-driven architectures, and microservices.
• Collaborate with development, consulting, and delivery teams to ensure secure deployment of applications and services.
• Work on adjacent areas such as tenancy security, networking, encryption, key/certificate management, WAF, SIEM, vulnerability scanning, monitoring & observability.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers; provide domain credibility in pre-sales and solution scoping discussions.
• Write technical blogs, conduct knowledge sessions, and present solutions to customers and internal teams.
• Partner with development teams to influence product improvements and security innovations.

We are seeking a highly skilled DevSecOps Lead to join our SecDevOps Team, focused on delivering secure OCI (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure) service solutions and helping customers adopt operational controls with best-in-class cloud-native technologies. This role blends development, architecture, and evangelism—ideal for a hands-on technical leader passionate about security, automation, and enabling customers to meet compliance and innovation goals.

You will work directly with clients to design secure architectures, deliver implementations, integrate cloud-native technologies, and share knowledge through blogs, presentations, and thought leadership.

Minimum Qualifications

• Strong experience in cloud service delivery with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Expertise in SecDevOps, cloud-native application development, IaC, CI/CD, microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, observability.
• Hands-on with CI/CD tools (Jenkins) and IaC tools (Terraform).
• Experience with configuration management (Chef, Puppet, Ansible).
• Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, Go, PowerShell, Ruby, etc.).
• Experience on Linux and Windows platforms with application development.
• OCI certifications (Developer, Architect, Operations) preferred.
• Multi-cloud knowledge with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is an advantage.
• Experience with compliance frameworks (PCI, HIPAA, ISO 27001, CIS, HITRUST).
• Familiarity with security frameworks (CIS, NIST, Zero Trust).
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs.
