Technical Skills:

• 10 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Architecture, or similar technical leadership roles.
• Proven experience with AWS services, particularly AWS EKS, in a production environment.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Harness.
• Adept in provisioning resources on AWS using Terraform or Cloud Formation.
• Strong proficiency with monitoring solutions such as Data dog and AWS Cloud Watch.

Soft Skills:

• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to articulate complex technical concepts.
• DevOps Technical Skills must be hands on.

• Must be updated with tools and technologies used in the industry.

The candidate should be either local to one of our delivery centers, preferably Kolkata, or ready to relocate. Should also be prepared to work during overlapping business hours.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership:

• Lead a team of DevOps engineers, providing mentorship, guidance, and performance evaluations.
• Drive the technical vision for cloud infrastructure, ensuring alignment with business goals and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Cloud Architecture & Management:

• Develop and maintain comprehensive cloud architecture on AWS, focusing on best practices for security, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
• Oversee the configuration and management.

CI/CD Pipeline Implementation:

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Harness and other relevant tools to streamline and automate deployment processes.
• Ensure high availability and reliability of deployment pipelines and production environments.

Monitoring & Incident Management:

• Implement and manage monitoring solutions using Data dog and AWS Cloud Watch to maintain system health and performance.
• Lead incident response efforts, ensuring rapid resolution and minimal downtime for critical systems.

System Performance & Optimization:

• Conduct regular performance tuning, capacity planning, and optimization of infrastructure resources.
• Proactively identify and mitigate potential bottlenecks and issues in the cloud architecture.

Compliance & Security:

• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices, implementing security measures across all cloud environments.
• Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments, applying remediation strategies as needed.
