Job summary

Siemens Healthineers AG in Bengaluru, India, seeks an experienced DevOps leader to guide a high-performing team of engineers and drive platform delivery. You will own Scrum ceremonies, mentor engineers, and collaborate with product owners and architects to align priorities with business goals.

As a senior contributor, you will optimize CI/CD, automation, cloud adoption (Azure preferred), and monitoring, while reducing single points of failure and promoting innovation across the organization.

Qualifications

• BE, MSc, MCA, Computer Science or related discipline.
• Minimum 8-10 years experience in DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a DevOps team, fostering high performance and growth.
• Drive talent development, mentoring, and career progression.
• Ensure Scrum ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, PI Planning).
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, and stakeholders to align delivery priorities with business and technical objectives.
• Drive backlog refinement, capacity planning, and sprint execution for predictable delivery.
• Oversee day-to-day project execution, identify risks and dependencies, and remove impediments.
• Ensure adherence to DevOps best practices, security, and compliance.
• Coordinate cross-functional activities across development, testing, infrastructure, operations, and release management.
• Monitor project health through delivery metrics and KPIs.
• Drive continuous improvement across automation, CI/CD, and cloud platforms.
• Promote knowledge sharing and cross-skilling within the team.
• Support release planning, deployment readiness, production support, and major incident management.
• Foster innovation with emerging technologies including AI-driven DevOps practices.
• Act as liaison between project team and stakeholders with transparent reporting.
• Onboard and coach new team members, contributing to workforce capability development.
• Contribute to resource planning and hiring activities.
