Job summary

Happiest Minds Technologies in Bengaluru invites an experienced Senior Azure Infrastructure Engineer to design, deploy, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure. You will work with Data Factory, Data Lake, Databricks, and security controls while ensuring high availability and cost efficiency.

You will collaborate with engineering and security teams to implement Terraform-based deployments, manage Azure DevOps pipelines, and automate repetitive tasks using Python and PowerShell.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Azure deployment across Data Factory, Data Lake, Databricks, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Key Vault.
• Experience with self-hosted integration runtime, Windows/Linux VMs, and AD.
• Hands-on with Terraform, Azure DevOps pipelines, Jenkins, and scripting in Python/PowerShell.

Responsibilities

• Prepare architecture diagrams with components, connectivity, and network rules.
• Update Low-Level Design documents and maintain infrastructure inventory.
• Deploy infrastructure resources using Terraform and manage cost reviews.
• Ensure infrastructure stability, scalability, security, and compliance.
• Collaborate with dev teams for planning, validation, and review.
• Document implementation steps and create how-to articles.

Senior Azure Infrastructure Engineer

Location: Bengaluru, India

Years of Experience: 5-8 Years

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Senior Azure Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Azure deployment, infrastructure management, and a strong understanding of cloud technologies. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and secure infrastructure solutions that meet our business needs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare architecture diagrams with components, connectivity, and network rules as per application requirements.
• Update and maintain Low-Level Design documents.
• Deploy infrastructure resources using Terraform.
• Work on new initiatives for DPS-Enterprise Workstream Products.
• Ensure infrastructure stability, scalability, security, and compliance with Pru GISP standards.
• Collaborate with development teams and relevant stakeholders for planning, validation, and review of infrastructure.
• Update and maintain infrastructure inventory/assets.
• Review and evaluate infrastructure costs.
• Investigate the viability of new technologies to optimize our infrastructure.
• Implement infrastructure with High Availability and Disaster Recovery setups.
• Document implementation steps/processes and create ?How to? articles.

Mandatory Skills

• Expertise in Azure deployment and implementation of components such as Data Factory, Data Lake, Databricks, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Azure Key Vault, SQL Server, Azure Active Directory, Self-Hosted Integration Runtime, Windows and Linux VMs.
• Knowledge of Power BI Desktop/Workspace and Power Automate.
• Expertise in working with Terraform, Azure DevOps, and Jenkins.
• Proficient in Python and PowerShell scripting.
• Understanding of networking concepts like IP segments and DNS.
• Proficient with Azure CLI, Terraform, and Bash scripting.
• Familiarity with security, audit logging, and firewall rules.
• Understanding of hybrid connectivity (Cloud VPN, Interconnect).
• Knowledge of security certificates and encryption methods.
• Experience with Azure DevOps is mandatory.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of working with JIRA, Confluence, and ServiceNow.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (BE/BTech).
• Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) or AZ-204 equivalent, Azure DevOps Engineer, Azure AI Fundamentals certifications are preferred.
