Job summary

Heptarc in Navi Mumbai / Chennai seeks a seasoned DevOps engineer with 6+ years of experience to design, implement, and operate high-volume on-premises systems.

You will containerize Java applications with Docker and Kubernetes, manage Linux environments, and build CI/CD pipelines using Maven/Gradle, Jenkins, TeamCity, GitLab, Nexus, Puppet, and Chef. Strong knowledge of monitoring with Zabbix, Nagios, and CloudWatch is required, along with IBM MQ integration and microservices architecture.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in designing and maintaining high-volume DevOps environments.
• Strong on-premises experience; financial domain knowledge is a plus.
• Experience containerizing enterprise Java applications.

6+ years of experience in designing and maintaining high volume and Devops Skills (On-premises ) Strong (Financial domain good to have)

• Should be able to containerize (Docker / Kubernetes) enterprise java applications.
• Knowledge of Java Virtual Machines, Apache Tomcat, Nginx, Apache Kafka, Microservices architecture, Caching mechanisms Strong background in Linux/Unix Administration and Python/Shell Scripting CI/CD pipeline implementation: Maven/Gradle, TeamCity, Jenkins, GitLab, Nexus, Puppet, Chef Networking, Information Security experience Monitoring tools like Zabbix, Cloud Watch Monitoring, Nagios IBM MQ Strong programming skills
• Excellent analytical skills Knowledge of best practices and IT operations in an always up, always available service
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, judgment and decision making skills
• Experience in enterprise application development, maintenance and operations.
