About the Role

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Expert to join our team and drive our infrastructure automation, deployment processes, and operational excellence. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about building scalable, reliable systems.

Total Experience:

• 7-10 years in IT/Software Engineering · DevOps
• 5-7 years of hands‑on DevOps engineering experience
• AWS Cloud Experience: 2-3 years (preferred but not mandatory)

Educational Qualifications

Required: Bachelor of Engineering (BE) or Master of Technology (MTech) in Computer Science or Information Technology. Candidates with equivalent technical degrees will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our DevOps infrastructure and practices. This includes building and optimizing CI/CD pipelines, managing cloud infrastructure, ensuring system reliability, and fostering a culture of automation and continuous improvement.
• You’ll work closely with development and operations teams to streamline processes, reduce deployment times, and enhance system performance and security.

Required Skill

• Strong experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, Circle CI, or Azure DevOps.
• Proficiency in configuration management and infrastructure as code tools (Ansible, Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Extensive experience with containerization technologies (Docker) and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes).
• Solid understanding of version control systems, particularly Git.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Datadog, or similar).
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for infrastructure & systems.
• Deep understanding of Linux/Unix system administration.
• Experience with networking concepts, security best practices, and system architecture.
• Knowledge of database administration and performance tuning.
• Understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.

Soft Skills

• Strong problem‑solving abilities and analytical thinking.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a cross‑functional team.
• Proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.

Nice to Have

• 2-3 years of hands‑on experience with AWS cloud services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, ECS, etc.).
• AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer). 
• Knowledge of security and compliance frameworks.
• Experience with GitOps practices and tools (Argo CD, Flux).
• Familiarity with service mesh technologies (Istio, Linkerd).
