Job summary

PwC in Hyderabad is seeking an experienced DevOps engineer to develop and deploy cloud-based pipelines for data and analytics projects. You will work across AWS and Azure, automate infrastructure, and ensure reliable delivery in client engagements.

The role requires hands-on scripting with Python/SQL, IaC with Terraform, and mentoring juniors. You will translate client requirements into delivery workstreams and help improve release processes and system stability.

Qualifications

• Preference for fields of study including AI/analytics/CS/engineering
• Demonstrated AWS and Azure DevOps delivery across client engagements
• Experience with data engineering, data modelling, and pipeline automation
• Proficiency in Python and SQL for deployment workflows
• Ability to interpret analytics to guide recommendations and decisions
• Experience mentoring junior team members in ambiguous project environments

Responsibilities

• Developing and deploying cloud-based DevOps pipelines across AWS and Azure environments for data and analytics engineering solutions
• Automating infrastructure provisioning, application delivery, and environment configuration using scripting and infrastructure as code tools
• Monitoring system performance, deployment activity, and pipeline reliability to identify issues and support timely resolution
• Collaborating with client teams to gather requirements, translate technical needs into delivery workstreams, and adapt solutions to changing priorities
• Applying data science and analytics knowledge to support scalable solutions, model deployment, and workflow optimization
• Reviewing code, deployment scripts, and pipeline components to validate quality, security, and alignment with technical standards
• Interpreting operational data and incident trends to recommend improvements in release processes, stability, and delivery efficiency
• Mentoring junior team members, sharing technical approaches, and supporting assigned tasks across active client engagements
