Tata Consultancy Services Limited is looking for a seasoned DevOps/Platform Engineering professional to design, implement, and optimize containerized deployments. You will automate using Python, Bash, and PowerShell, manage Perforce and GitHub environments, and drive CI/CD with Jenkins and GitHub Actions.

Strong Linux skills and experience with Artifactory/Nexus are required. Ideal candidates have 6–12 years in DevOps or related fields and are adept with Grafana/Prometheus for observability and

Competenze

• 6-12 years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Build & Release, or Infrastructure Automation.
• Hands-on experience in Python scripting and Bash scripting for automation.
• Strong expertise in Docker, Containers, and Kubernetes (K8s).
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline implementation and management using Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
• Good understanding of GitHub repository administration, access management, and workflow troubleshooting.
• Experience with JFrog Artifactory/Nexus Repository Manager.
• Knowledge of Ansible for configuration management and automation.
• Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
• Exposure to Perforce administration, source code management, or build/release environments preferred.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana and Prometheus.

Role & responsibilities

• Develop, deploy, and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Create and maintain automation solutions using Python, Bash, and PowerShell scripting.
• Administer and support Perforce environments, including user management and access control.
• Manage GitHub repositories, permissions, and repository configurations.
• Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot GitHub Actions workflows and self-hosted runners.
• Support and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
• Administer JFrog Artifactory/Nexus repositories and artifact lifecycle management.
• Monitor platform health using Grafana, Prometheus, and related observability tools.
• Perform Linux system administration, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• Investigate and resolve infrastructure, deployment, and source control issues.
• Collaborate with development, integration, and release teams for smooth software delivery.
• Follow DevOps best practices, automation standards, and operational excellence processes.
• Continuously improve deployment, monitoring, and infrastructure automation processes.
• Support next-generation platform engineering initiatives and cloud-native solutions.

Preferred candidate profile

• 6-12 years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Build & Release, or Infrastructure Automation.
• Hands-on experience in Python scripting and Bash scripting for automation and operational tasks.
• Strong expertise in Docker, Containers, and Kubernetes (K8s) environments.
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline implementation and management using Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
• Good understanding of GitHub repository administration, access management, and workflow troubleshooting.
• Experience working with JFrog Artifactory/Nexus Repository Manager.
