Job summary

Publicis Production is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer with a strong Google Cloud Platform focus to join our global DevOps function in Bengaluru. You will drive automation, CI/CD pipeline development, and ensure infrastructure reliability across the organization, collaborating with development and operations to accelerate deployment velocity and system stability.

You will own hands-on implementation of GCP CI/CD tools, IaC (Terraform/Deployment Manager), and secure, scalable cloud

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years in DevOps with a strong focus on GCP environments from design to go live.
• Hands-on experience with GCP CI/CD tools such as Cloud Build, Cloud Deploy, and Artifact Registry.
• Expertise in Kubernetes (GKE), Docker, and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or Deployment Manager.
• Strong scripting and automation skills (Python, Bash).
• Deep understanding of GCP networking, IAM, and security best practices.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside the DevOps team in designing and managing CI/CD pipelines using GCP services such as Cloud Build and Cloud Run.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and Deployment Manager for consistent GCP environments.
• Define and enforce standards for monitoring, alerting, and incident response using Google Cloud Operations Suite.
• Monitor platform performance and optimize where possible.
• Maintain DevOps documentation on processes and standards.
• Be part of an on-call rotation for priority incidents and escalation.
• Partner with Development and Platform Engineering teams to ensure smooth deployments on GCP.
• Drive cost optimization, security, and compliance across GCP projects and workloads.
• Champion automation and reliability, leveraging GCP-native tools to continuously improve infrastructure delivery.

Job Summary

This role fosters collaboration between development and operations teams, optimising deployment velocity and system stability while leveraging GCP-native tools and services.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.

Experience

• 5+ years in DevOps with a strong focus on GCP environments from design to go live
• Experience in AWS and Azure cloud environments highly desirable
• Hands-on experience with GCP CI/CD tools such as Cloud Build, Cloud Deploy, and Artifact Registry.
• Expertise in Kubernetes (GKE), Docker, and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or Deployment Manager.
• Strong scripting and automation skills (Python, Bash)
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Deep understanding of GCP networking, IAM, and security best practices
• Proven ability to own complex GCP-based deployments and incident response
