HBSPL is hiring a DevOps Engineer to support cloud infrastructure, deployment, automation, and CI/CD pipelines. The role spans Docker, Kubernetes, IaC, monitoring, and security across Chennai, Coimbatore, and Bangalore as part of a hybrid/remote/work-from-office setup.

Freshers and experienced professionals are welcome; BE/BTech or related degree with cloud certifications is preferred. The company offers a flexible work model and growth opportunities in modern tech stacks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in BE, BTech, BSc or related field.
• DevOps, Cloud, Kubernetes, or AWS certifications and hands-on projects are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, release and deployment.
• Manage cloud infrastructure, servers, and deployment environments across dev/test/prod.
• Use Docker, Kubernetes and IaC to automate deployments.
• Monitor cloud infra and apps; troubleshoot and improve reliability.
• Automate routine ops using DevOps tools and scripting.
• Support security, backups, logging, access management, and infra maintenance.
• Collaborate with dev, cloud, and ops teams to improve deployment and cloud ops.

About the Role

HBSPL is looking for a DevOps Engineer to support cloud infrastructure, application deployment, automation, and continuous delivery. The role involves working with CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms, Docker, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code, monitoring, and DevOps automation. You will collaborate with development, cloud, and operations teams to improve deployment efficiency, system reliability, scalability, and overall operational performance.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate application build, testing, release, and deployment processes.
• Manage cloud infrastructure, servers, and deployment environments across development, testing, and production.
• Use Docker, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to automate and manage application deployments.
• Monitor cloud infrastructure and applications, troubleshoot issues, and improve system reliability and performance.
• Automate routine operational tasks using DevOps tools, scripting, and automation practices.
• Support security, backup, logging, access management, and infrastructure maintenance activities.
• Work with development, cloud, and operations teams to improve deployment, scalability, performance, and cloud operations.

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD, continuous integration, and continuous deployment.
• Hands‑on knowledge of AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
• Familiarity with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or similar CI/CD tools.
• Knowledge of Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for cloud infrastructure automation.
• Working knowledge of Linux, Git, and Shell Scripting.
• Ability to use Python or Bash for automation and operational tasks.
• Familiarity with CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, monitoring, and logging.
• Understanding of cloud networking, security, system administration, and troubleshooting.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and automation skills.

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in BE, B.Tech and B.Sc or a related field.
• DevOps, Cloud, Kubernetes, or AWS certifications and relevant hands‑on projects will be an advantage.

Experience

• Freshers: Academic projects, internships, certifications, or practical exposure to DevOps, Cloud Computing, CI/CD, or automation tools.
• Experienced Professionals: Experience in DevOps Engineering, Cloud Engineering, System Administration, Infrastructure, or related domains is preferred.
