We are looking for a DevOps Engineer with 4+ years of experience to design, build, and operate scalable AWS infrastructure with strong ownership of CI/CD, containerized workloads, and infrastructure as code. The role requires deep hands‑on expertise and a production‑first mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions across multiple environments (dev, staging, production)
- Build, deploy, and operate containerized applications on AWS ECS (Fargate and/or EC2)
- Provision, update, and manage AWS infrastructure using CloudFormation (templates, stacks, stack sets)
- Own deployment automation, release strategies, rollback mechanisms, and zero/minimal‑downtime deployments
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize AWS workloads for performance, reliability, availability, and cost
- Implement and enforce security best practices across IAM, networking, secrets management, and CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate closely with application engineering teams to improve build, deployment, and operational workflows
- Actively participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and post‑mortems
- Maintain clear documentation, runbooks, and operational standards
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 4+ years of hands‑on experience in DevOps / Cloud Engineering roles
- Strong production experience with AWS, including:
- VPC, Security Groups, ALB/NLB
- Proven expertise in CI/CD using GitHub Actions, including reusable workflows and environment‑based deployments
- Strong experience with Docker and containerization best practices
- Solid hands‑on experience with CloudFormation for infrastructure provisioning and lifecycle management
- Good understanding of networking concepts, load balancing, and AWS security fundamentals
- Experience working with Linux systems and shell scripting
- Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and alerting in AWS environments
- Strong troubleshooting skills with a focus on production stability
