Job summary

KLA is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join a world-class engineering team. You will design, automate, and scale CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure that support our software products and development ecosystem.

The role emphasizes AI-enabled DevOps, IaC, cloud infrastructure on AWS/Azure/GCP, and container orchestration with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm. Collaboration across teams is essential to deliver reliable software at scale.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in CS/Engineering/IT with 2–3 years hands-on DevOps experience.
• Experience integrating AI agents in CI/CD and platform automation.
• Strong knowledge of IaC, cloud platforms, and container orchestration.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines across platforms.
• Integrate AI capabilities into CI/CD for automation and analysis.
• Develop and maintain IaC and cloud infrastructure using Terraform/CloudFormation.
• Manage Docker/Kubernetes deployments and Helm charts.
• Automate deployment processes using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve reliability and efficiency.
• Contribute to incident response, post-mortems, and continuous improvement.

Job Description / Preferred Qualifications

The selected DevOps Engineer will join a world-class engineering team responsible for designing, automating, and scaling the infrastructure, systems, and services that support KLA's software products and development ecosystem. This individual will play a key role in driving automation, infrastructure modernization, and CI/CD excellence while enabling engineering teams to deliver software safely, reliably, and efficiently at scale.

The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in AI Agents / Agentic AI Frameworks for DevOps practices/process, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), cloud technologies, container orchestration, and automation. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement scalable solutions, improve platform reliability, and establish engineering best practices across the software delivery lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
• Integrate AI capabilities into CI/CD pipelines for intelligent code review, deployment validation, root cause analysis and change impact assessment.
• Build and maintain knowledge repositories, AI skills, prompts, and contextual data sources that improve the effectiveness of AI systems across the software development lifecycle.
• Architect and manage cloud infrastructure using AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP), leveraging Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
• Deploy, operate, and optimize containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
• Automate operational and deployment processes using Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar scripting languages.
• Collaborate with software development, quality engineering, and infrastructure teams to accelerate software delivery and improve operational efficiency.
• Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Evaluate and implement modern DevOps solutions to enhance developer productivity and platform performance.
• Contribute to architecture discussions, platform standardization, and engineering excellence initiatives across global teams.

Minimum Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field with 2-3 Hands-on experience with AI Agents / Agentic AI Frameworks for DevOps practices/processes
