Job summary

KLA, a leader in semiconductor solutions, is seeking an AI Team Leader to guide a team of algorithm engineers. This role involves defining the AI roadmap, driving hands-on AI solution development, and ensuring production readiness.

Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

• Lead and scale a team of AI / algorithm engineers (ML, DL, LLMs)
• Define and drive the AI roadmap aligned with product and business goals
• Actively contribute hands‑on to design, development, and implementation of AI solutions
• Own delivery of AI solutions—from research and prototyping to production deployment
• Guide architecture and design of AI systems integrated into Frontline products
• Drive adoption of advanced AI techniques (LLMs, RAG, Generative AI)
• Collaborate closely with software, product, and application teams
• Mentor engineers and grow technical leadership within the team
• Ensure high engineering standards, scalability, and production readiness

Minimum Qualifications

• BSc/MSc in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in AI / Machine Learning / Deep Learning/ Algorithm development
• 2+ years of experience in technical leadership or team management
• Strong hands‑on experience developing and delivering AI/ML solutions (required)
• Strong background in ML/Deep Learning (coding and system design)
• Strong software engineering skills (Python, C++ or similar)
• Experience building and deploying production‑grade AI systems
• Excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making skills
• Strong communication and leadership abilities
