Job summary

Gynoveda in Mumbai seeks a DevOps + Tech Support Engineer to own the production cloud infrastructure for our nationwide clinic network. The role requires 3–5 years of cloud infrastructure experience, Docker and Kubernetes, and experience with multiple database engines.

Qualifications

Position Title: DevOps + Tech Support Engineer

Our clinics run seven days a week. When the billing system stops loading on a Saturday morning and patients are waiting, this role is responsible for fixing it. If your first instinct is to open the logs rather than escalates, read on.

We are one of India's fastest-growing healthcare clinic networks. 60-plus clinics across 30-plus cities, scaling to 200. Every clinic runs on cloud infrastructure. This role owns that infrastructure.

THE ROLE:

Hands-on ownership of production infrastructure for a live clinic network. You manage AWS end-to-end, keep two database engines replicated and healthy, run CI/CD for applications deployed by an external build partner, and act as first responder when production breaks. Clinics operate weekends; the on-call phone is part of the job.

WHAT YOU WILL OWN:

• AWS infrastructure: App Runner, ECR, S3, CloudFront, RDS (MariaDB and Postgres)
• Read replica setup and management for both engines, so BI never touches production
• CI/CD pipelines for web applications
• Secrets management and credential rotation (AWS Secrets Manager, SSM Parameter Store)
• Monitoring and alerting (CloudWatch, SNS)
• Cloud cost governance and server capacity planning
• Production support POC for the entire clinic network

WHO YOU ARE:

• 3 to 5 years hands-on cloud infrastructure experience. AWS preferred; GCP or Azure accepted; skills transfer fast
• SQL database administration on any major engine: MariaDB, MySQL, Postgres, SQL Server
• Docker plus any orchestration platform: ECS, EKS, GKE, AKS, or self-managed Kubernetes
• Experience managing infrastructure that a separate team or agency deploys on
• Has handled production issues outside business hours, personally, not by escalation

ADVANTAGEOUS:

Healthcare or clinic tech platforms, hospital IT, or any environment where downtime means people waiting at a physical location.
