Job summary

Ericsson is seeking a highly motivated DevOps Engineer to join our team to drive digital transformation with automation, cloud-native tech, and modern DevOps practices.

You will collaborate with development, operations, customers, and business stakeholders to design, create and maintain technical documentation, MOPs, and runbooks, and lead technical discussions across multiple projects and environments. Strong scripting, DevOps tools, and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong Shell scripting (Bash) and Python.
• Hands-on experience with Ansible, YAML, and JSON.
• GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, Git, and Gerrit or similar code review tools.
• Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm (OpenShift is a plus).
• Working knowledge of Linux environments.
• Monitoring tools such as Grafana or Prometheus.
• Agile/Scrum delivery experience.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will work closely with development, operations, customers, and business stakeholders to design, Create and maintain technical documentation, MOPs, and runbooks Engage independently with customers and stakeholders; lead technical discussions and drive delivery outcomes across multiple projects and environments.

This position requires strong expertise in scripting, automation, DevOps tools, container platforms, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Mandatory Skills

• Strong Shell scripting (Bash) and Python
• Hands-on experience with Ansible, YAML, and JSON
• GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, Git, and Gerrit or similar code review tools
• Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm (OpenShift is a plus)
• Working knowledge of Linux environments
• Monitoring tools such as Grafana or Prometheus
• Agile/Scrum delivery experience

Good to Have

• Exposure to Azure, AWS, or GCP
• Jira, Confluence, and ServiceNow (preferred)
• Telecom domain knowledge
• GitOps tools (ArgoCD or FluxCD)
• Kibana or ELK Stack
• VMware, OpenStack, or virtualized infrastructure experience.
