Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience with AWS cloud services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, Route 53, ELB, Auto Scaling).
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Hands-on CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, CodePipeline, CodeBuild).
• Experience with containerization/orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Scripting and automation in Python/Bash/Shell.
• Version control proficiency (Git, Bitbucket, GitHub, GitLab).
• Monitoring/observability tools (CloudWatch, Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana).
• Configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet) a plus.
• Networking concepts (VPC, Load Balancers, DNS, VPN, SGs, NACLs).
• Cloud security practices (IAM, secrets management, SSL/TLS).
• Linux/Unix system administration.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Lead or support cloud migration and modernization initiatives, including lift-and-shift, replatforming, and containerization on AWS
• Design and maintain highly available, scalable, and disaster-resilient infrastructure
• Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient build, test, and deployment processes
• Set up and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure system reliability
• Participate in incident management and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to improve system performance
• Ensure implementation of security best practices across infrastructure and applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance deployment efficiency and system performance

Skills
