Job summary

Involead is seeking a DevOps Engineer / Sr. DevOps Engineer to join our Gurgaon-based team.

You will lead cloud infrastructure management on AWS and Azure, build scalable deployments, and drive containerization and CI/CD initiatives across the development lifecycle. You will design and maintain secure, high-availability environments, implement automated deployment pipelines, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize performance and cost.

Qualifications

• 3-6 years of hands-on DevOps/Cloud experience.
• Hands-on AWS and Azure cloud deployments.
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture, infrastructure management, and deployment practices.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD or GitHub Actions.

Position: DevOps Engineer / Sr. DevOps Engineer

Professional Experience

• 3-6 years of hands-on experience in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, or related roles.
• Proven experience in designing, deploying, and managing cloud environments on AWS and Azure.
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture, infrastructure management, and deployment practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Cloud Infrastructure Management
• Design, deploy, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available cloud environments on AWS and Azure.
• Leverage cloud-native services such as AWS ECS/EKS and Azure AKS to deploy and manage containerized applications.
• Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency.

• CI/CD Pipeline Development
• Build, configure, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, and other automation tools.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate code quality, testing, and security checks into the deployment lifecycle.
• Automate application build, testing, deployment, and release processes.

• Containerization & Orchestration
• Deploy, configure, and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Implement best practices for container orchestration, scalability, availability, and resource utilization.
• Troubleshoot container and Kubernetes-related issues across development and production environments.

• Monitoring & Troubleshooting
• Implement and maintain comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure system reliability and performance.
• Monitor infrastructure, applications, and deployments to identify and resolve potential issues proactively.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution.
• Perform root-cause analysis and implement preventive measures for recurring issues.

• Security & Compliance
• Integrate security best practices into CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and application deployments.
• Implement appropriate access controls, secrets management, and security configurations.
• Ensure compliance with applicable industry standards, organizational policies, security requirements, and data-privacy regulations.
• Work closely with security and engineering teams to identify and mitigate infrastructure and deployment risks.

Good-to-Have

• Experience with additional CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
• Familiarity with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
