Job summary

Deutsche Telekom Digital Labs in India seeks a DevOps Engineer to own delivery of cloud workflows across consumer-facing web and mobile apps, streaming, data stores, and APIs. The role emphasizes automation, security, and cost efficiency in AWS environments.

You'll build and maintain IaC with Terraform and AWS CLI, write scripts in Shell, and collaborate in an Agile Scrum setting. Experience with GitLab and GitFlow is essential to streamline PRs and documentation in Confluence.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant AWS and DevOps experience.
• Strong knowledge of Linux, AWS core services (VPC, EC2, S3 IAM, RDS), and container orchestration.
• Experience with IaC tooling (Terraform, AWS CLI) and automation scripting.

Requirements

• Graduate with 3-5 years of relevant work experience in AWS and DevOps.
• Extremely knowledgeable on Linux, Shell Scripting, AWS core services (VPC, EC2 S3 IAM, RDS), Amazon EKS/Kubernetes, ArgoCD, GIT, Docker, Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Regular use of AI tools for Infrastructure as Code (IaC), including Terraform and AWS CLI scripting, with the ability to refine AI-generated configurations and validate changes using practices such as `terraform plan` and dry runs.
• Strong operating system fundamentals with a focus on performance optimisation and reliability of the system.
• Good to have experience working with distributed systems and databases (SQL, NoSQL, and Cache), stream processing (Kafka), message queuing (RabbitMQ), and search and analytics platforms (ELK).
