Qualifications

• 1+ years of hands-on DevOps/Infrastructure experience.
• Strong knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
• Experience with monitoring/observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, etc.).
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Golang or Python preferred).
• Familiarity with Linux and databases (MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL).

Job Brief

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer I to join our Infrastructure team. You will work closely with engineering teams and stakeholders to build, maintain, and improve scalable and reliable infrastructure.

The role involves improving developer productivity, ensuring infrastructure reliability and availability, eliminating operational toil, and implementing robust monitoring and security practices.

The ideal candidate should be able to work independently, have strong problem-solving skills, and possess hands‑on experience with modern DevOps and cloud technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure reliability, uptime, and availability of infrastructure.
• Build tools and applications to improve developer experience and productivity.
• Identify and eliminate repetitive operational toils through automation.
• Implement and improve observability across infrastructure, including monitoring, alerting, and logging.
• Implement and monitor Golden Signals for infrastructure and services.
• Collaborate with internal engineering teams and external vendors to troubleshoot issues and improve tools and processes.
• Contribute to infrastructure security and implement appropriate security best practices.
• Participate in designing and improving scalable infrastructure and deployment processes.

Requirements & Skills

• 1+ years of hands‑on experience in Core DevOps/Infrastructure.
• Understanding of System Design and experience working with distributed systems.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines for containerized applications.
• Hands‑on experience with Kubernetes Operators.
• Strong experience with AWS or any other major cloud platform.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as:
• Prometheus
• Grafana
• Mimir
• Loki
• New Relic
• Proficiency in at least one programming language is mandatory. Preferred: Golang or Python
• Candidates with strong proficiency in other programming languages may also be considered.
• Good working knowledge of databases such as MongoDB, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with Linux operating systems.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of infrastructure-related initiatives.
