Job summary

Celcom Solutions Global is seeking a hands-on DevOps/Platform Engineer for a 2-month contract in Chennai, starting immediately and located at DLF Work From Office. You will perform production validation using Blue-Green strategies and then implement the design, collaborating with the lead architect.

You will join technical sessions, review pipelines and infrastructure, and map interfaces between applications and databases.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in DevOps or platform engineering in production.
• Hands-on experience with Blue-Green deployment strategies.
• Experience with Kubernetes-based environments and cloud networking.
• Strong ability to capture, document, and map application hosting, deployment, routing and connections.
• Proficient in scripting (Python or Bash) and writing clear notes.

Responsibilities

Celcom Solutions Global is Looking to hire DevOps / Platform Engineer.

Role: DevOps / Platform Engineer
Contract Duration: 2 months with possible extension
Location: Chennai- DLF- Work From Office
Notice Period: Immediate

We need a hands-on DevOps / Platform engineer to support a production validation (Blue-Green) assessment for a large telecom client, and then help build it. During the assessment you dig into how each application is hosted, deployed, routed and connected, and write it down clearly. During implementation you build what has been designed, working closely with the lead architect.

What you will do

• Review pipelines, infrastructure and configuration (Kubernetes, VMs, load balancers, gateway rules).
• Map interfaces between applications and the databases they share.
• Check where traffic could be split between the current and new version.
• In implementation: build green environments as code, set up routing for test users, extend pipelines, add rollback and monitoring.

What we are looking for:

• 6+ years in DevOps or platform engineering in production.
• Kubernetes (EKS or similar), Helm and ArgoCD or Argo Rollouts.
• AWS networking: load balancers, Route 53, ingress controllers.
• CI/CD pipelines in at least two of GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI or Azure DevOps. Infrastructure as code (Terraform or similar).
• Basic database release work: migrations, backward compatible changes, rollback scripts.
• Scripting in Python or Bash, and clear written notes.
