We are seeking a highly experienced Senior DevOps to provide technical leadership, architectural insight, and mentorship to our systems and DevOps teams. This role serves as a strategic liaison with customer engineering teams, guiding system integration into existing enterprise architectures while ensuring operational excellence, site reliability, and scalability.

The ideal candidate will bring over a decade of hands-on experience in complex enterprise environments, a deep understanding of cloud and hybrid infrastructures, and strong expertise in CI/CD, automation, containerization, and system performance optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead, mentor, and develop members of the systems and DevOps teams.
Promote a culture of continuous learning, DevOps best practices, and knowledge sharing.
Provide guidance on architectural decisions and adoption of emerging technologies.
Serve as the single point of contact for integration with customer engineering teams.
Design, review, and implement scalable, enterprise-grade architectures with clear understanding of system limitations and interdependencies.
Draft orientation documents and deliver technical presentations to support decision-making.

Operations & Reliability

Oversee system performance analysis, incident management, and root cause analysis.
Manage high-severity issues with urgency, aligned with SLAs and SLOs.
Ensure rigorous security compliance and protocol adherence across system administration practices.

CI/CD & Automation

Define and implement best practices for software lifecycle management, automation, and continuous integration/delivery.
Drive tooling improvements and integrate systems like Jenkins, GitLab Runner, and Ansible for efficiency and traceability.
Collaborate with Change Management, Coordinators, and the Environments team to track and resolve project and operational activities.
Implement and support cloud-based and hybrid infrastructure solutions.
Assist internal teams with cloud transformation in line with enterprise architecture goals.
Evaluate and recommend cloud services, containerization strategies, and orchestration solutions (e.g., Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker).

Monitoring, Security & Compliance

Utilize observability and monitoring tools to proactively maintain site reliability.
Conduct vulnerability assessments, recommend patching strategies, and evaluate security implications on architecture dependencies.

Required Qualifications:

experience in DevOps, systems engineering, or infrastructure roles.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering or a related discipline.
Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA), OpenShift Administrator, or equivalent.
Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) and AWS Certification (Associate or Specialist level).
Deep knowledge of containerization and orchestration: Docker, Podman, Kubernetes, OpenShift.
Expertise with CI/CD tools and platforms: GitLab CI, Jenkins, UDeploy, GitHub, Bitbucket, GitOps practices.
Strong scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python, or similar).
Hands-on experience with Java-based applications and enterprise monitoring tools.
Familiarity with workflow and project management tools like Jira and Confluence.
