Job summary

Isha Foundation, Inc. seeks an experienced DevOps professional to architect, optimize, and secure our AWS infrastructure in Coimbatore and Tamil Nadu. You will drive CI/CD, automation, monitoring, and reliability across deployments.

You will implement IaC with Terraform, manage Jenkins-based pipelines, and ensure container orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes, while adhering to security best practices.

Qualifications

• AWS certifications such as DevOps Engineer - Professional or Solutions Architect - Professional.
• Proficiency with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.).
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
• Strong understanding of containerization/orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of scripting languages like Python, Bash, or Perl.
• Minimum 2–3 years in a DevOps role.
• 2 years of backend development experience.
• Strong understanding of security best practices in DevOps and AWS environments.

Responsibilities

• CloudInfrastructure Management: Architect, maintain, and optimize AWS cloud infra for best practices, security, and cost efficiency.
• Deployment & Automation: Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines; automate provisioning and configuration; monitor/log/alert systems.
• Security & Compliance: Ensure infrastructure components comply with security standards; monitor for anomalies and address vulnerabilities.
• Continuous Improvement: Research and adopt new tools/tech to improve efficiency, speed, and deployment quality.

• CloudInfrastructure Management:Architect, maintain, and optimize our AWS cloud infrastructure ensuring bestpractices, security, and cost efficiency, oversee infrastructure scalabilityand resilience. Manage disaster recovery strategies and ensure regular backups.Scrutinize and optimize AWS costs, ensuring the best value without compromisingperformance or security.


• Deployment& Automation:Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines, automate infrastructure provisioning andconfiguration management, Maintain and enhance monitoring, logging, andalerting systems.


• Security& Compliance: Ensurethat all infrastructure components are compliant with security standards.Monitor systems for any anomalies and potential security breaches. Collaboratewith the security team to address vulnerabilities and implement patches in atimely manner.


• Continuous Improvement: Research and introduce new tools andtechnologies to optimize DevOps operations. Ensure team members are trained onthe latest AWS services and DevOps methodologies. Drive initiatives to improveefficiency, speed, and quality of deployments.
