NTT DATA in Bengaluru is seeking a DevOps Engineer with strong Oracle Database capabilities to join our team. You will install, patch, monitor, and optimize Oracle databases, perform backup and disaster recovery, and collaborate with application teams to ensure high availability.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, upgrade, patch, and maintain Oracle databases.
• Monitor and optimize database performance, storage, and capacity.
• Perform database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning.
• Investigate and resolve database incidents, alerts, and performance bottlenecks.
• Perform database cloning, migration, refresh, and upgrades.
• Implement and maintain database security, user access, roles, and privileges.
• Review and optimize SQL queries, indexes, and execution plans.
• Automate routine DBA activities using Shell Scripting, Python, or PowerShell.
• Support development, testing, and production environments.
• Work closely with application teams to troubleshoot database-related issues.
• Prepare and maintain database documentation, SOPs, and operational runbooks.
• Participate in on-call production support and critical incident management.
