Job summary

Alstom is seeking a full-time DevOps Engineer in Bangalore to design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure across on-prem and cloud environments. You will automate development, delivery, and deployment processes, monitor performance, and collaborate with software development, testing, and system integration teams to ensure scalable, secure, and releasable software delivery.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in software development, integration, and testing.
• Proficiency in Linux environments and shell scripting.
• Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and containerization tools (e.g., Docker or Podman).
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins or GitLab-CI) and Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, or Chef).
• Familiarity with artifact management tools (e.g., Artifactory or Nexus) and monitoring solutions (e.g., Grafana, ElasticSearch).
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Groovy, or Gradle.
• Desirable: Experience with cloud infrastructure (e.g., Microsoft Azure, AWS, or GCP) and REST APIs.
• Desirable: Relevant certifications (e.g., Jenkins, Azure).
• Strong oral and written English communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with remote and international teams.
