Job summary

ZeOmega in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced DevOps Release Engineer to design, develop, and maintain build and deployment systems, tools, and automation scripts. You will collaborate with QA to ensure releases meet standards and manage release timelines.

Responsibilities include automating CI/CD pipelines, maintaining version control and build tools, and providing leadership to improve release processes across the organization.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in build, release, and systems engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in DevOps practices and tools.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Perl, Ruby, and Bash.
• Intermediate experience with Windows and GNU/Linux environments.
• Experience with CI tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo, TeamCity, Buildbot, Go, CruiseControl.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git, SVN, CVS, Perforce, ClearCase, Mercurial.
• Knowledge of build tools such as Ant, Maven, and Buildout.
• Experience with configuration management tools like Puppet, Chef, Salt, or Ansible.
