Job description

The DevOps Engineer will design, build, and optimize automation frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-based infrastructure to support scalable, secure, and high-performance applications.

This role focuses on improving operational efficiency through automation, enhancing deployment processes, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring adherence to organizational and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement automation tools, scripts, and frameworks to support CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize continuous integration, continuous development, and continuous deployment processes.
• Monitor and manage cloud and on-prem infrastructure for performance, scalability, and security.
• Define development, testing, release, update, and support processes for DevOps operations.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with infrastructure, network, and engineering teams.
• Ensure compliance with security standards, operational policies, and industry best practices.
• Continuously evaluate and improve processes, tools, and automation to enhance productivity.

Required Qualifications

• Strong automation experience using Terraform, Python, Shell scripting, and containerized environments.
• Experience managing Kubernetes clusters, helm charts, GitOps workflows, deployment pipelines, and observability tooling.
• Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, with a focus on AWS.
• Experience deploying systems at scale in production environments.
• Knowledge of REST APIs, web security principles, and modern web application architectures.
• Proficiency in scripting using Python or Bash.
• Experience with database administration, preferably MySQL/MariaDB; familiarity with PostgreSQL or NoSQL databases is a plus.
• Understanding of artifact repositories, container registries, build systems, and packaging methods across different ecosystems.
• Knowledge of cloud service lifecycle management.

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to Pulumi for infrastructure automation.
• Working knowledge of Linux internals and system administration.
• Experience with observability pipelines and monitoring tools.
• Knowledge of cloud networking, distributed systems, and service-mesh concepts.
