About the Role
We are seeking a passionate, hands‑on DevOps Engineer to join our Platform Engineering team and play a key role in our platform modernization journey. This role is ideal for engineers who thrive in automation‑first, cloud‑native environments and are excited about building scalable, secure, and intelligent infrastructure platforms.
You will work on next‑generation cloud platforms, leverage AI‑powered automation, and help build resilient, self‑healing systems that support applications at scale in a fast‑paced product environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and contribute to platform modernization initiatives, including containerization, service mesh adoption, and migration to microservices and serverless architectures
- Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines and self‑service DevOps platforms to accelerate software delivery
- Build and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation for scalable and repeatable deployments
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and operations using tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef
- Implement AI/ML‑driven automation for predictive alerting, anomaly detection, auto‑scaling, and intelligent incident response
- Build self‑healing, resilient systems focused on availability, performance forecasting, and cost optimization
- Establish strong observability practices using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, ELK, Loki, Datadog, and AIOps platforms
- Embed security and compliance (DevSecOps) practices throughout the SDLC
- Participate in SRE on‑call rotations, production support, and post‑incident root cause analysis
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in large‑scale, distributed systems
- Build internal tools and automation to improve platform visibility and operational efficiency
- Collaborate closely with engineering, architecture, and security teams to drive best practices and architectural alignment
- Support disaster recovery, backup strategies, and compliance initiatives (SOC2, ISO, etc.)
- Mentor junior engineers and promote a culture of engineering excellence and continuous improvement
Mandatory Skills / Role Requirements
- Strong hands‑on experience with Linux, Kubernetes, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills in production environments
- Product‑oriented mindset with strong problem‑solving abilities
Required Qualifications
- 4–6 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering roles
- Strong hands‑on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and service mesh technologies (Istio, Linkerd)
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, ArgoCD, Spinnaker, or similar tools
- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or Pulumi
- Proficiency in configuration management tools such as Ansible or Puppet
- Experience with observability and monitoring stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Loki, Datadog)
- Understanding of AIOps / ML‑driven automation (anomaly detection, predictive alerting, intelligent incident response)
- Familiarity with event‑driven architectures using Kafka or cloud‑native messaging systems
- Strong understanding of cloud cost optimization and resource efficiency best practices
Nice to Have
- Experience with serverless architectures
- Exposure to OpenTelemetry and advanced AIOps platforms
- Prior experience working in product‑based or SaaS environments
