Job summary

Serenetic Software Pvt Ltd is seeking a DevOps/SRE engineer to own and evolve the infrastructure that our engineering teams depend on daily. You will work closely with developers to ship fast and safely, keep production healthy, and automate repetitive tasks.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with core AWS services: EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, ECS/EKS, Lambda, CloudWatch, Route 53.
• Proficiency with infrastructure as code, ideally Terraform.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or AWS CodePipeline).
• Solid understanding of Docker and container orchestration.
• Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Go.
• Good grasp of networking fundamentals (DNS, load balancing, TCP/IP, TLS).
• Clear communication and a collaborative approach to working with developers.

Responsibilities

• Run and scale containerized workloads on ECS, EKS, or Fargate, and serverless services like Lambda.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting with CloudWatch and tools like Datadog, Prometheus, or Grafana.
• Strengthen security posture through IAM best practices, VPC design, secrets management, and compliance controls.
• Participate in an on-call rotation, lead incident response, and drive blameless postmortems.
• Identify cost optimization opportunities and keep AWS spend under control.
• Document systems and share knowledge across engineering.

• Familiarity with multi-account AWS setups using Organizations and Control Tower
• Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible
