Job summary

Exillar, an Ahmedabad-based technology company, is seeking a capable DevOps Engineer to join the infrastructure and delivery team. You will build, automate, and maintain pipelines and systems ensuring fast, reliable, and secure software and data delivery.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in a DevOps, Site Reliability, or Cloud Infrastructure role.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Azure - compute, storage, networking, and managed services.
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools - Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools - Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
• Solid scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals - DNS, load balancing, VPNs, firewalls, and subnets.
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools - Azure Monitor, Grafana, Prometheus, or similar.
• Experience with version control and collaborative workflows using Git.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and scaling using IaC tools.

• Manage containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Implement and maintain security best practices - access controls, secrets management, vulnerability scanning, and compliance.
• Manage environment configurations across development, staging, and production.
• Optimize infrastructure costs without compromising reliability or performance.
• Maintain clear documentation of infrastructure architecture, runbooks, and deployment processes.

Role Overview

We are looking for a capable and proactive DevOps Engineer to join our infrastructure and delivery team. In this role, you will be responsible for building, automating, and maintaining the systems and pipelines that keep our development and data environments running smoothly. • Knowledge of security frameworks and compliance standards (ISO 27001, SOC 2, or similar)
• Experience with log aggregation and incident management tools
• Background working in data-heavy or analytics-focused engineering teams
