Job summary

Exillar Infotech Pvt Ltd in Ahmedabad is seeking a capable DevOps Engineer to design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure for software and data workflows.

You will automate provisioning with Terraform, Bicep/ARM, and Azure DevOps, while managing Docker/Kubernetes workloads and monitoring. Collaboration with data/AI teams is essential, with a focus on reliability and security.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a DevOps, Site Reliability, or Cloud Infrastructure role
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Azure - compute, storage, networking, and managed services
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools - Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools - Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates
• Solid scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation
• Understanding of networking fundamentals - DNS, load balancing, VPNs, firewalls, and subnets
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools - Azure Monitor, Grafana, Prometheus, or similar
• Experience with version control and collaborative workflows using Git
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

Responsibilities

We are looking for a capable and proactive DevOps Engineer to join our infrastructure and delivery team. In this role, you will be responsible for building, automating, and maintaining the systems and pipelines that keep our development and data environments running smoothly. You will bridge the gap between development and operations – ensuring fast, reliable, and secure software and data delivery across the organization.

This role is ideal for someone who treats infrastructure as code, automation as a default, and downtime as unacceptable.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for software and data engineering workflows
• Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure (or equivalent platforms)
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and scaling using IaC tools
• Monitor system health, performance, and availability - and respond to incidents proactively
• Collaborate with Data Engineers, AI/ML Engineers, and BI Developers to support deployment of pipelines, models, and applications
• Manage containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes
• Implement and maintain security best practices - access controls, secrets management, vulnerability scanning, and compliance
• Manage environment configurations across development, staging, and production
• Optimize infrastructure costs without compromising reliability or performance
• Maintain clear documentation of infrastructure architecture, runbooks, and deployment processes

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Exposure to multi-cloud environments (AWS or GCP alongside Azure)
• Knowledge of security frameworks and compliance standards (ISO 27001, SOC 2, or similar)
• Experience with log aggregation and incident management tools
• Background working in data-heavy or analytics-focused engineering teams
