Job summary

NR Consulting is seeking a DevOps Engineer to design and implement CI/CD pipelines and AWS-based DevOps infrastructure. You will work with Terraform/CloudFormation, Kubernetes, and monitoring tools to automate releases and ensure secure, scalable systems.

You will engage with internal customers and developers to optimize workflows, promote a DevOps mindset, and deliver reliable deployment pipelines for multiple projects from our Chennai office.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Linux and configuration management tools.
• Strong background in CI/CD, DevOps practices, and Agile methodologies.
• Experience with AWS cloud services and container orchestration.
• Proficient with Terraform/CloudFormation for infrastructure as code.
• Good command of observability tools like Grafana/Prometheus and logging.

Responsibilities

• Build and test end-to-end CI/CD pipelines for development and production.
• Deploy and maintain AWS-based DevOps infrastructure and containers.
• Monitor, log, and scale on-prem and cloud environments.

Project Role : DevOps Engineer

Project Role Description : Responsible for building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure utilizing knowledge in continuous integration, delivery, and deployment (CI/CD), Cloud technologies, Container Orchestration and Security. Build and test end-to-end CI/CD pipelines, ensuring that systems are safe against security threats.

Summary:

The focus of this role is development-oriented design, implementation, and maintenance of AWS DevOps systems that support development parties and release pipelines for our projects.

We are passionate about automating routines. Day-to-day, you will engage directly with internal customers, developers, and numerous other teams to better optimize their workflows through automation and well-designed systems.

You will be involved in deploying and promoting new services for internal clients. Observability and logging are of the highest importance to us.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Strong Experience with automation tools + Terraform/CloudFormation and AWS containerization to deliver CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitoring, logging, maintaining, and scaling on-prem and AWS infrastructures.
• Collaborating with infrastructure and development teams to improve our products and processes.
• Taking responsibility for building and testing pipelines that will be used for both development and production deployments.
• Analyze existing pipelines in terms of functionality and performance and take decisions to improve them. Promoting DevOps culture and mindset.

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Experience background in Linux with hands-on experience with configuration management tools
• Experience using version control frameworks such as Git
• Experience using AWS cloud provider Good understanding of CI/CD, DevOps, and Agile methodologies
• Experience with container tooling and orchestration -Kubernetes is a strong plus Experience working with DevOps toolset (Hashicorp stack: Vault, Terraform)
• Experience working with Monitoring toolset (Grafana, Prometheus, Alert Manager or similar) Excellent knowledge of English, both spoken and written.

Additional Information:

• The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in DevOps Architecture.
• This position is based at our Chennai office.
