Overview

We are seeking an experienced Head of IT and ITES to oversee all IT operations including IT products procurement, IT security (hardware & software), internet infrastructure, DevOps pipeline setup and maintenance, website hosting, SSL certificate management, and overall IT infrastructure stability. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise combined with strategic leadership skills to ensure secure, reliable, and cost-effective IT operations.

Responsibilities

IT Operations & Infrastructure Management

• Oversee day-to-day IT operations ensuring 99.9% uptime for all critical systems
• Manage IT infrastructure including servers, networks, endpoints, cloud services, and collaboration tools
• Ensure optimal performance, availability, and responsiveness of all IT services against agreed SLAs
• Lead incident management: triage, escalation, coordination, and post-incident reviews
• Manage IT procurement for hardware, software, cloud services, and subscriptions
• Lead vendor management: negotiate contracts, SLAs, track performance, and resolve escalations
• Oversee software license management and renewal cycles
• Control IT costs and budgets; ensure cost-effective procurement decisions

IT Security (Hardware & Software)

• Implement and maintain comprehensive IT security framework including firewalls, VPNs, antivirus, and zero-trust architecture
• Ensure hardware security (devices, servers, network equipment) and software security (applications, databases)
• Partner with Information Security Team to secure application products and mitigate risks
• Ensure compliance with ISO 27001 (ISMS) and other security standards
• Conduct regular security audits, vulnerability assessments, and patch management
• Manage access controls, identity management, and device compliance posture

Internet & Network Connectivity

• Manage internet service providers (ISP), bandwidth planning, and connectivity redundancy
• Oversee network infrastructure: firewalls, Active Directory, Wi-Fi, VPN, WAN/IPSEC VPNs
• Ensure network capacity planning, monitoring, and performance optimization
• Coordinate with service providers for issue resolution and service upgrades

DevOps Pipeline Setup & Maintenance

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for development teams
• Lead competencies in DevOps, Agile development, and Lean IT principles
• Ensure smooth integration between development, testing, and production environments
• Work with Engineering/SRE teams on shared tooling and internal platforms

Website Hosting & Management

• Host and maintain company websites and testimonials platforms
• Ensure website availability, performance, and security (WAF, DDoS protection)
• Oversee content deployment, backups, and disaster recovery for web properties

SSL Certificate Management

• Create, install, and renew SSL certificates for all applications and websites
• Manage SSL infrastructure including certificate authorities, key management, and encryption standards
• Ensure HTTPS enforcement across all web properties and applications
• Monitor certificate expiration and automate renewal processes
• Guide and support IT team; ensure high performance standards and continuous improvement
• Establish IT operations operating model (team structure, on-call rotation, RACI, service ownership)
• Ensure audit-ready operations with documented procedures aligned to SOC 2/ISO 27001
• Develop IT policies, practices, and standard operating procedures
• Provide technical leadership for complex IT projects

Required Qualifications

Education

• BE/BTech in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent (minimum)
• Master's degree in IT/Management is a plus

Experience

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in IT operations, infrastructure management, and ITES
• Proven experience in DevOps pipeline setup and maintenance
• Experience managing IT procurement, vendor relationships, and budgets
• Background in IT security implementation and compliance (ISO 27001 preferred)
