Qualifications

• MSc in Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Life Science with 7+ years of experience in biotech R&D or related labs.
• Hands-on experience with multicolor flow cytometry assay development and validation.
• Strong immunology knowledge and data interpretation skills.

We are currently looking for an ‘Scientist II in Research & Development who will be primarily responsible for the designing flowcytometry assays.

This position reports to the Senior Scientist/ Staff Scientist/ Manager, Development Science and is part of the R&D team located in Bangalore North facility and will be an on-site role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to learn:

• Immunology, immunophenotyping, Biology or related life sciences
• Spectral flowcytometry, Data analysis
• Multicolor flowcytometry assay development
• Analytical skills to interpret data and uses independent judgment and discretion in developing solutions

The essential requirements of the job include:

• M.Sc. in Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Life science degree with minimum 7+ years of work experience preferably in Biotechnology research and Flowcytometry method development/R&D lab either in CROs/APIs or in academic research institutions. Experience in characterization of Hands on Experience with various modes of Multicolor flowcytometry assay development and advanced laboratory measurement systems are desired (Sample preparation & processing, Acquisition, Data analysis, Data interpretation, Assay optimization would be an added advantage). Core expertise in Immunology, protein biology, such as assay development techniques. Hands on experience on biological assay techniques, Basic knowledge of Flow cytometry or other assay development techniques would be an added advantage. Good laboratory practices- record notebook maintenance.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: NO Travel is expected for this role. This would be a fully on-site role

Ability to lift/move or carry equipment/solvents/buffers of 10-15 Liter/10-15 Kg capacity.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Biological assays,
• Exposure to Panel designing
• Knowledge and experience in analytical techniques
