Job Summary
This role focuses on designing, customizing, and maintaining software applications to enhance functionality and user experience. Responsibilities include managing software updates and releases, working closely with stakeholders to develop solutions that meet business needs, mentoring junior staff, and using performance metrics to improve reliability. The candidate will collaborate with Quality Assurance to ensure compliance with technical specifications, analyze market trends, and participate in collaborative development sessions.
Key technical focus areas include developing and leveraging platforms on AWS and Google Cloud services, implementing infrastructure-as-code solutions, and integrating AI-driven automation.
Responsibilities
- Lead the strategic development and implementation of the AI Ops platform and software development solutions.
- Evaluate, identify, and develop software solutions in public and private cloud environments.
- Leverage AWS to build software and automated testing frameworks.
- Document and record every aspect of applications or software.
- Train and oversee development team activities.
- Plan, track, and schedule software deliverables in partnership with program teams.
- Deliver solutions for critical challenges involving software and hardware interfaces.
- Develop continuous improvement techniques to resolve problems within software systems.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with managers, product owners, programmers, engineers, and QA.
- Apply extensive knowledge of software development processes and associated technologies.
- Utilize design patterns and architectural styles.
- Operate within agile development environments.
- Apply soft skills, including attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication.
- Develop software in Golang, Python, or Java.
- Work with enterprise service bus platforms, graph databases, and AWS services such as MongoDB, Step Functions, SQS, and Bedrock.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance software delivery and operations.
- Lead assessment and migration of legacy software into core implementation strategies.
- Work with APIs and GraphQL endpoints.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
- 5–8 years of coding and development experience in Golang, Python, R, or equivalent language.
- 5+ years of experience in pair programming, code review, and use of GitHub and GitHub Actions.
- Hands‑on experience developing infrastructure‑as‑code solutions including LLMs, prompt engineering, and/or agent frameworks.
- Experience with REST APIs, low‑code/no‑code automation platforms.
- Proficiency in creating and maintaining technical documentation, design specifications, and troubleshooting guides.
- AWS Certified and strong knowledge of AWS services (e.g., MongoDB, Step Functions, SQS, Bedrock).
- Demonstrated success in leading the design and implementation of ITSM automation solutions, AIOps, and event‑management platforms.
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams, IT leaders, and stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
- Proven record of creating and maintaining comprehensive technical documentation.
- Willingness to explore and integrate new technologies into existing solutions.
- Track record of continuously seeking improvements in processes to enhance delivery and efficiency.
- Experience leading and growing diverse technical teams and mentoring individuals.
Education and Certifications
- Bachelor’s Degree (preferred; coursework and experience may be considered).
- AWS Certification (required).
