Job summary

Job description

Vistex is a global enterprise software and services company that helps businesses take control of their mission‑critical processes. Development Analyst I will coordinate software issues reported by customers and document the resolutions. This position will have constant interactions with clients.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot issues by replicating, debugging, identifying, diagnosing, and resolving second and third level software support issues.
• Interact with customers to ensure problems are clearly defined.
• Assist customers with issues during software installations and upgrades.
• Provide on‑call support during product installation/upgrade of customer systems.
• Learn and understand the application products developed by the business.
• Suggest methods for improving efficiency and service to customers and associates.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education

Bachelor’s or better in Information Technology or a related field.

Experience

4–6 years of experience in SAP ABAP and knowledge of SAP R/3, S/4 HANA functionality.

Required Skills

• Broad knowledge of data processing systems, concepts, and methodologies.
• Strong command of the English language, both written and verbal.
• Ability to communicate functional/technical concepts to technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Experience with Vistex Incentives & Paybacks functionality, Data Maintenance functionality, or SAP Sales and Distribution functionality with exposure to system configuration.
