Developer I - Software Engineering (POD Engineer) Position Summary UST is seeking a motivated Developer I - Software Engineering (POD Engineer) to join a high-performing engineering pod and contribute to the development of innovative, scalable, and high-quality software solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong foundational software engineering skills, a learning mindset, and an interest in leveraging AI-powered tools and modern engineering practices to accelerate delivery and improve product quality.
Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. 1-3 years of software engineering experience in application development. Foundational experience in full-stack development, including frontend technologies, backend services, APIs, and databases. Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, or similar platforms. Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and DevOps practices. Basic knowledge of cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks. Strong analytical, problem-solving, troubleshooting, and debugging skills. Ability to quickly learn and adapt to emerging technologies, modern engineering practices, and AI-driven development approaches.
