Job summary

Electrolux Group in Bengaluru, India, is seeking an Enterprise DevOps / Platform Engineer to own and evolve our GitHub-based platform and SDLC tooling at enterprise scale. Based in Central IT, you will enable thousands of developers across IT and the wider business.

You will define governance, drive golden paths, build a self-service developer portal, and evangelize modern DevOps practices while balancing autonomy with compliance.

Qualifications

• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• Strong experience running GitHub at enterprise scale and Terraform for infrastructure provisioning.
• Deep understanding of SDLC, CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• Experience influencing adoption across large federated organizations.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the enterprise GitHub platform and SDLC tooling.

What you'll do:

We are looking for a an Enterprise DevOps / Platform Engineer to own and evolve our GitHub platform and SDLC tooling at enterprise scale. In this role, you will sit in Central IT and act as the platform owner and enabler for thousands of developers across IT and the wider business, shaping how software is built, secured, and delivered across a global manufacturing organization.

In detail, you will:

• Own and evolve GitHub as an enterprise platform (structure, access, governance, integrations)
• Define and drive enterprise SDLC standards and "golden paths"
• Lead the development of a developer portal and self-service capabilities
• Evangelize modern DevOps and software engineering practices
• Partner with architecture, security, and platform teams to balance autonomy and compliance.

As part of the culture of continuous improvement, you will be involved in Lean Thinking projects and activities (EMS/EAI).

Who you are:

• University Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Strong experience running GitHub (or similar) at enterprise scale- Advanced proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and GitHub for version control and CI/CD workflows.
• Deep understanding of SDLC, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
• Experience influencing adoption across large, federated organizations.
• Ability to translate governance into developer-friendly platforms.
• Fluent English.
