Job summary

Emerson Electric Co in India is seeking a skilled SharePoint & Power Platform developer to design, implement, and maintain solutions that boost internal productivity.

You will collaborate with product owners, participate in Agile ceremonies, and ensure governance and ALM practices while delivering measurable business value.

Strong knowledge of SharePoint Online, Power Platform, SAFe, and ITIL concepts is a plus; certifications are welcomed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4-year experience on applications development on SharePoint Online, Power Apps, Power Automate.
• Strong hands-on experience & expertise using Power Automate and PowerApps
• Strong knowledge of SharePoint Online Out of Box features like List, Libraries, Workflows, Webparts, Content Types, Document Sets, Master Pages, Permissions Management

Responsibilities

• Work directly with the Product Owner to understand application and automation requirements and with technical co-workers to provide scalable and flexible designs and solutions
• Design, develop, implement and maintain SharePoint Online and Power Platform solutions to continually improve internal customer productivity
• Plan and deliver work in sprints/iterations by following Scrum/Agile principles
• Actively participate in SAFe Agile ceremonies such as PI Planning, Daily Stand-Ups, Retrospectives, System Demos
• Analyze and mitigate issues identified during UAT and Go-Live phases
• Review objectives against actual outcomes and implement necessary fixes or enhancements based on UAT results
• Develop and seek approval for UAT plans (including data backup/migration, communication, and cut-offs) in close collaboration with the PO
• Work closely with the team of developers to troubleshoot complex issues, optimize performance, and enhance efficiency
• Review and implement best practices within the team to maximize system/application potential
• Research emerging technologies, automation platforms, and industry trends to improve knowledge and skills and identify opportunities for innovation
• Partner with the PO to elevate project issues or limitations and to propose actionable improvements and/or workarounds that can be implemented either on the spot or be planned for the next PIs.
• Document all technical deliverables as part of user manuals, technical specifications, best practices etc.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365 products and Azure, SharePoint Framework
  • Proactive individual contributor & team player
  • Effective analytical & problem-solving skills
  • Good to have experience in HTML5, CSS, Javascript, Asp.net, C#, jQuery
  • Knowledge of Angular, React & other JS technologies are added advantages
• Nice to have Certifications:
  • Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Fundamentals
  • Microsoft Certified: Power Platform App Maker Associate
  • Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate
