We are currently looking for a Developer 3 (C++).

The Developer is responsible for the overall performance of the product, applying principles of software engineering to design, develop, maintain, test, and evaluate software. They ensure the timely delivery of high-quality software within release timelines and guidelines.

What you will be doing

Work within our Acuo Core VNA team as a Senior Software Developer, focusing on moving the product forward through refactoring and modernization, including:

• VNA functionality and workflow optimizations for cloud deployments.
• Implementation of RESTful web services.
• Architecting new components and re-architecting existing ones as needed.
• Enhancing supportability, security, usability, and performance of the software.

What will make you successful

• In-depth knowledge and experience in Microsoft C++ Development, including memory management, concurrency, and multi-threading.
• Experience with Microsoft .NET Development.
• Familiarity with Healthcare Enterprise Workflow, Components, and Standards (preferred).
• Knowledge of the DICOM Standard (preferred).
• Experience with Web services/RESTful service implementation and design.
• Proficiency in Unit testing development.
• Strong knowledge of Amazon Web Services or other cloud technologies.
• Strong knowledge of SQL Server and/or PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with large capacity storage systems and Cloud storage environments.
• Cloud development experience (AWS and/or Azure) is a plus.
