Job summary

Dr. Reddy's Foundation is seeking a DevOps Engineer in Hyderabad to design, automate, and maintain secure, scalable infrastructure supporting application development and deployment.

You will build cloud platforms with IaC, implement automated CI/CD pipelines, and ensure reliability through monitoring, incident response, and continuous improvement of release processes. The role emphasizes collaboration with development teams and ongoing adoption of best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or SRE experience.
• Experience with at least one major cloud platform (Azure/AWS/GCP).
• Proficient in containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with CI/CD tooling and IaC.

Responsibilities

• Design, provision, and manage cloud infrastructure using IaC principles.
• Ensure infrastructure is scalable, secure, highly available, and cost-efficient.
• Monitor cloud resources and implement improvements for reliability.
• Design, implement, and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines across environments.

The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for building, automating, and maintaining secure, scalable, and reliable infrastructure that supports application development and deployment. The role focuses on improving release efficiency, strengthening system reliability, and enabling development teams through modern DevOps practices, cloud infrastructure, and continuous integration and deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, provision, and manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
• Ensure infrastructure is scalable, secure, highly available, and optimized for performance and cost.
• Monitor cloud resources and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability.

CI/CD & Release Automation

• Design, implement, and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines across development, testing, and production environments.
• Streamline software release processes to improve deployment speed, consistency, and reliability.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate DevOps best practices into the software development lifecycle.

Containerization & Platform Operations

• Deploy, manage, and scale containerized applications using modern orchestration platforms.
• Ensure platform stability through effective monitoring, logging, observability, and incident management.
• Support application performance tuning and infrastructure optimization.

Security & Reliability

• Implement security best practices across infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and cloud environments.
• Automate security checks, compliance controls, and vulnerability management.
• Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and implementation of preventive measures to improve system resilience.
• Develop monitoring, alerting, and reporting mechanisms to ensure high system availability.
• Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve operational efficiency.
• Stay current with emerging DevOps tools, cloud technologies, and industry best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or a similar role.

Technical Skills

• Experience with at least one major cloud platform (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform).
• Strong understanding of containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
• Experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, PowerShell, or Python.
• Good understanding of Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Bicep, or Ansible.
• Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Azure Monitor.
