Job summary

Infor in Hyderabad is seeking a Business Analyst to join an international team working on Data Fabric within the Infor OS platform. You will help advance the data strategy and enable data-driven decisions across warehousing, analytics, and machine learning.

Daily tasks include gathering requirements with product managers, translating them into designs, collaborating with engineers, and validating solutions with QA. Strong BI and data management experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Experience presenting with ability to communicate in both technical and non-technical language.
• Experience with business analysis methods and techniques.
• Experience in data management, including databases, query languages, data extraction/loading.
• Experience with cloud-native architectures and services (Redshift, Snowflake or Firebolt) and data processing.
• Experience of business intelligence and data visualization.

Responsibilities

• Work with product managers on gathering, analyzing, prioritizing, and documenting requirements.

A Typical Day In The Life Includes

• Work with product managers on gathering, analyzing, prioritizing, and documenting requirements.
• Together with key engineers and architects translate requirements into solution designs, including user interface mock-ups.
• Communicate with stakeholders and development teams during development.
• Work with quality assurance engineers to ensure that requirements are tested; and conduct acceptance testing to ensure that the specifications have been correctly interpreted.
• Write draft documentation or create presentations.

Basic Qualifications

• Experience presenting skills with the ability to communicate in both technical and non-technical language.
• Experience with business analysis methods and techniques.
• Experience in data management, including databases and query languages, data extraction or acquisition use cases, data transformation and data loading.
• Experience with cloud-native architectures and services (such as Redshift, Snowflake or Firebolt) and advanced data processing techniques.
• Experience of business intelligence and data visualization.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience evaluating information from various sources and resolve conflicts.
• Experience engaging in multiple initiatives simultaneously, prioritize tasks and make effective decisions under pressure.
