Position Overview
Role Description –Deutsche Bank’s Chief Information Security Office (CSO) is currently looking for an IT Security Engineer. The IT Security Engineer will work on our PKI solutions and for the strategic Certificate Management System program (CMS CertHub). Both, PKI and CMS are critical infrastructures for most Deutsche Bank applications enabling automatic certificate management as well as being a crucial element for the success of our Google Cloud journey. The IT Security Engineer is part of the agile Cryptography Engineering & Solutions team. In close collaboration with our stakeholders they transfer, realize and implement the customer’s requirements into the crypto products.

Your Duties / Responsibilities –- Development, improvement and quality assurance of the crypto products
- Support the design solutions based on customer requirements
- Review software delivery artefacts of crypto products
- Promote automation: from building, testing and deploying of software packages
Support various technical and non-technical stakeholders to specify and understand product functionality.
Your skills and experience –- 1+ year of verifiable experience in a similar role or as an engineer preferred with IT security background
- Good and proven skills in at least one programming language (e.g. Python, Java, Go, Perl, Groovy, Java Script)
- Experience using Linux as an operating system
- An open mind willing to learn new concepts related to IT Security / cryptography
- End-to-end delivery attitude, ability to work independently
- English, fluent in speaking and writing
- Familiarity with Cloud environments and/or Terraform is a plus
- Good understanding of automation frameworks and experience with automation tools (e.g. Jenkins, TeamCity, UrbanCodeDeploy) is a plus
- Familiarity with Behavior Driven Development, Test Driven Development is a plus
- Familiarity with Agile development methodology or experience is a plus
Education / Qualification –Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited college or university or education with a concentration in Computer Science, Mathematics or equivalent.
