Schindler in Surat seeks a motivated fresher or early-career maintenance professional to support electrical & electronic systems, PLC hardware/software, and reporting tasks on field assignments.

The role involves planning activities, data updates in systems, timely reporting, and frequent collaboration with customers and internal teams; travel readiness and strong communication are expected.

Qualifications

• Fresher or 1-2 years experience in maintenance/E&E industry.
• Diploma in Electrical, Electrical & Electronics or Electronics & Communication.
• Able to understand PLC hardware/software and basic electrical/electronic components.
• Use of digital tools such as computers, programming boards, and software updates preferred.
• Plan daily, weekly, and monthly activities for assigned projects; travel extensively.

Responsibilities

• Understand hardware and software part of PLC; update and report progress.
• Plan daily, weekly and monthly activities for the project assigned.
• Generate and compile data and segregate as per need.
• Handle day-to-day updates of field data in the system.
• Submit reports on time and communicate with internal and external customers.
• Possess basic knowledge of elevators & escalators; use Schindler apps for reporting.

Role & responsibilities

• 1. Fresher or 1-2 years Experience in the relevant maintenance/E&E Industry.
• 2. Preferably Diploma in Electrical, Electrical & Electronics or Electronics & Communication.
• 3. Able to understand the Hardware and Software part of PLC, basic Electrical and Electronic component functionality, Identification of All Electrical & Electronic components.
• 4. Use of Digital Tools such as Computers/Laptops, Programming Boards, Software Updates is preferred.
• 5. Planning of daily, weekly & Monthly activities for the Project Assigned is desirable.
• 6. Generate & Compile the data received and seggregate as per the need.
• 7. To handle day to day updations of field related data in the system.
• 8. Timely submission of reports.
• 9. Target Oriented and should be self driven for achieving the Goals.
• 10. Communicating with the Internal & External Customers for smooth operational excellence.
• 11. Basic Knowledge of Elevators & Escalators is essential.
• 12. Tech Savy and should be good at using various Schindler Apps for reporting and SW updates.
