Your Role

We are seeking a Designer passionate about design. You will collaborate with our Design Directors and leadership on various workplace projects. As part of the Workplace team, you will create impactful experiences remembered for a lifetime. This role is suited for someone technically proficient, creative, and dedicated to innovative problem solving and design excellence.

What You Will Do
  1. Collaborate on commercial interiors projects, including programming client needs, concept design, schematic design, design development, and managing budget/schedule reviews.
  2. Develop space planning concepts and generate program documents.
  3. Participate in selecting furniture systems and specifications.
  4. Coordinate project team efforts for plans, specifications, and material selections required for construction.
  5. Apply technical knowledge for effective documentation and detailing.
  6. Work with consultants, contractors, fabricators, and regulatory agencies to meet project objectives.
  7. Participate in construction administration and review of submittals and finish samples.
  8. Manage client expectations and facilitate team and consultant communication.
Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Architecture.
  • 6+ years of related experience in commercial interiors.
  • Proficiency in Revit.
  • Strong knowledge of the design process, including FFE, furniture systems, and materials.
  • Outstanding graphic presentation skills.
  • Ability to focus on a single client or multiple projects at various stages.
  • Effective communication of design ideas.
  • Leadership, organizational, and relationship management skills.
  • Knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, SketchUp; 3-D Studio Max preferred.
  • NCIDQ is preferred; working toward licensure encouraged.
Design Technology Qualifications

Essential

  • Deep experience with Autodesk Revit for design and documentation.
  • Experience with BIM collaboration, cloud markups, and clash detection.
  • Understanding of Real-Time Visualization in BIM, including Escape or similar tools.
  • Experience developing FFE schemes with detailed specifications.

Desirable

  • Knowledge of VR walkthroughs and panoramas for presentations and reviews.
