Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an experienced Electrical Revit Designer to join our Electrical team. The ideal candidate will design detailed electrical layouts in Revit, manage model updates, and coordinate with vendors to ensure accuracy and timely delivery.

Applicants should have 5+ years of REVIT Design experience, proficiency in AutoCAD, and familiarity with MicroStation/Navis Works. This hybrid role supports collaboration across offices and remote locations while delivering high-quality outputs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in REVIT design (Mandatory)
• Must know AutoCAD and basic knowledge of electrical cable tray routing, lighting and fixtures
• Knowledge of Navis Works Review
• Diploma in Electrical or ITI

Responsibilities

• Develop and update detailed electrical layouts using Revit.
• Prepare and check Material Take Off (MTO).
• Update the model per vendor drawings.
• Produce drawings with MicroStation and AutoCAD as needed.
• Extract drawings using MicroStation.

Your impact

At Jacobs, we are seeking an experienced Electrical Revit Designer to join our Electrical team. The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in Revit for electrical design, with proven experience in developing detailed and accurate electrical layouts. The role requires someone who can work independently, manage competing priorities, and consistently meet tight deadlines while delivering high-quality outputs.

• 5-8 years years of experience
• Should have basic knowledge of electrical cable tray route, locating lighting, fixtures, support requirement.
• Hands on experience in REVIT electrical (Mandatory)
• Preparation and checking of Material Take Off. (MTO)
• Updating the model as per vendor drawings
• Working on Micro station & Auto CAD
• Extract drawing in MicroStation
• Should be able to work on the inputs in the form of sketch or excel sheet
